Yeast is a fungus, BARTENDER!!
A bartender told me last night that no beer is truly vegan because yeast is closer to an animal than a plant…. WTF, it’s a fungus!!! Are mushrooms animals? No. Dude. No. Be super vigilant about gluten all you want (see previous post). Lay off the yeast, brother. It lives in/on our bodies.
